Chafic Merhy is Head of Engineering and Quantative Research.
Chafic Merhy holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Montpellier. He also graduated from the École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Économique-Institut Polytechnique of Paris.
He has more than 20 years' experience in his field.
Chafic Merhy began his career as an actuary at Ernst & Young Actuaires Conseil before moving to Axa Investment Managers.
He joined Ostrum Asset Management in 2008 as a Senior Structured Credit and CDO Analyst.
Since 2018, he has been Head of Quantitative Research at Ostrum Asset Management.
