With this in mind, we have been committed to sustainable development and responsible finance for more than 35 years1, drawing on our expertise to support the transition. We recognise ESG as a fundamental driver of sustainable value and embed it throughout our investment decision-making process. ESG strategists, analysts and managers work together to build our ESG approach in order to better control risks and identify long-term opportunities.

  2. Consolidate the escalation process and its governance;
  3. Step up our involvement in financial market initiatives;

As European institutions, our clients are unique. However, they have a common goal: to secure the future of the citizens they serve. 

Because we play a vital role in safeguarding pensions and social protection, financing the transition and contributing to a more secure future, we have a level of responsibility that reflects a shared expectation of accountability. This is why we support our clients in implementing their responsible investment ambitions, taking into account their priorities and specific circumstances. This tailored approach draws on the expertise of our teams, the strength of our responsible investment framework and a trusted relationship built on transparency, dialogue and a commitment to continuous improvement. As an asset manager, our role is to advise clients by sharing our investment convictions and giving them access to our expertise through our range of open-ended funds. We keep them informed about regulatory developments on an ongoing basis. We help them to define their own ESG strategy, which we implement across their dedicated funds and discretionary investment mandates, managed effectively and in close partnership with our clients over the long term..

  3. Pursue our continuous improvement drive in order to ensure that we meet our clients’ needs;
  4. Launch a sector policy addressing pesticides to promote biodiversity conservation through our investments, following on from the publication of our Palm Oil policy.
