Blockchain technology applauded at AM TECH DAY

The FundsDLT platform, which enables fund managers to use blockchain technology, has won the “Most Innovative Fintech of the Year” award at the eighth AM TECH DAY by l’AGEFI, organized on October 9.

Each year, the AM TECH DAY welcomes more than 600 influencers and operational managers from the asset management sector along with their solution and service providers. This conference involves an extensive program of round-table events and partner presentations, along with an attractive exhibition space, and marks a highlight in the year for the sector as it provides a vital opportunity to gain an overview of the latest developments in the industry and their real effects on business.

FundsDLT uses blockchain technology to automate and secure several processes intended to streamline fund administration, order routing, and shareholder record keeping tasks. Natixis Asset Management carried out successful tests on the platform in July this year.

This fresh success for FundsDLT further bears out the relevance of Natixis Asset Management’s strategy, as the company spearheads innovation in the sector.

“A real revolution is under way in the sector, providing an opportunity to significantly reduce costs borne by investors and provide products and services that are better tailored to their needs” states Olivier Taille, Project leader at Natixis Asset Management.
